메타몽 키캡키링 찾기 도전 (Hunting for the Metamong Keycap Keyring)
아침 8시 반, 메타몽 키캡키링을 찾기 위해 편의점 투어를 시작했다.
(I started my convenience store tour around 8:30 a.m. to find the Metamong keyring.)
자전거를 타고 동네 근처 CU 세 곳을 돌았는데, 출발 전 포켓CU 앱에서 ‘재고 1개’를 확인했지만 막상 가보니 없었다.
(I rode my bike to three CU stores nearby. The app showed “1 in stock,” but when I arrived, it was already gone.)
포켓CU앱에서 보여지는 재고는 실제 점포의 재고와 다를 수 있다.
(The stock shown on the Pocket CU app may differ from the actual inventory at the store.)
(The second store didn’t have any Metamong goods at all.)
거의 포기한 마음으로 마지막 한 곳에 들렀는데, 그곳에서 드디어 사고 싶던 메타몽 키캡키링을 발견했다.
(I stopped by one last store with little hope and finally found the Metamong keyring I had been looking for.)
빼빼로데이 콜라보 & 가격 정보 (Pepero Day Collaboration & Price Information)
메타몽 굿즈 26종은 포켓CU 앱에서 미리 확인 가능하다

원래 계획은 빼빼로데이 콜라보 상품을 2개 이상 구매하면 토스페이머니 50% 할인을 받을 수 있어서 이벤트 상품 중에서 고를 생각이었다.
(The original plan was to buy two or more Pepero Day collaboration items to get a 50% discount with Toss Pay Money, so I was planning to choose from the event products.)
하지만 매장에는 메타몽 키캡키링 단 두 개만 남아 있었다.
(However, there were only two Metamong keycap keyrings left in the store.)
결국 고민 끝에 둘 다 데려왔다.
(In the end, I decided to take both home.)
가격은 하나에 18,500원.
(The price was 18,500 KRW each.)
할인을 받으려면 콜라보 상품 2개 이상을 구매해야 했다.
(To receive the discount, you had to buy at least two collaboration products.)
50% 할인이라고 해도 최대 한도는 15,000원이기 때문에 18,500원 × 2 = 37,000원에서 15,000원이 할인되어 최종 결제 금액은 22,000원이었다.
(The 50% discount had a maximum cap of 15,000 KRW, so after applying it to 37,000 KRW, the final payment was 22,000 KRW.)
참고로 SKT 멤버십이 있다면 최대 10% 중복 할인도 가능하지만 나는 해당되지 않아 그대로 결제했다.
(SKT Membership can get up to an additional 10% discount, but since I don’t have it, I paid the regular discounted price.)
구성 & 언박싱 (Unboxing & Package Details)
보라색 패키지에는 메타몽 캐릭터가 그려져 있었고, 안에는 빼빼로 4종(오리지널, 아몬드, 크런키, 화이트쿠키)과
귀여운 메타몽 키캡키링이 들어 있었다.
(The purple package featured the Metamong character and included four Pepero flavors and the adorable Metamong keyring.)
키링은 실제 키보드 키캡처럼 눌렀을 때 딸깍거리는 타건감이 있고, LED 불빛이 들어오는 디테일까지 있었다.
(The keyring clicks like a real keyboard keycap and even has LED lighting details.)
작지만 손에 쥐면 탄탄한 느낌이 나고, 책상 위에 두기만 해도 괜히 기분이 좋아지는 그런 아이템이었다.
(It’s small but sturdy, and just having it on the desk makes you feel good.)
결제 시 주의사항 (Payment Checklist)
포켓CU 멤버십 QR을 먼저 스캔한 뒤 토스페이(머니/계좌) 결제를 진행해야 할인 적용이 된다.
(You must scan your Pocket CU membership QR before paying with Toss Pay to get the discount.)
- 상품 2개(이상) 스캔 (Scan 2 or more items)
- 포켓CU 멤버십 QR 열기 (Open Pocket CU Membership QR)
- 직원에게 QR 스캔 요청 (Ask the staff to scan it)
- 토스 앱 실행 → 상단 ‘결제’ 버튼 클릭 (Open Toss app → Tap “Pay” at the top)
- 토스페이머니 설정 확인 후 QR 결제 (Check Toss Pay Money setting → Tap QR payment)
쿠폰과 SKT 멤버십이 있다면 쿠폰→SKT 멤버십 10%할인 → 포켓CU멤버십 스캔 그전에 적용하면 된다
(If you have both a coupon and an SKT Membership, apply them in this order: Coupon → SKT Membership 10% Discount → Pocket CU Membership Scan.)
후기 (Review)
찾는 동안은 조금 고생스러웠지만, 막상 손에 넣고 나니 그 수고가 전혀 아깝지 않았다.
(It took some effort to find, but it was absolutely worth it in the end.)
작은 키링 하나인데도 메타몽 특유의 귀여움과 LED 불빛이 주는 만족감이 컸다.
(It’s just a small keyring, but the Metamong design and LED light bring unexpected joy.)
책상 위에 올려두기만 해도 분위기가 달라지고, 딸깍거리는 키감 덕분에 일상 중간중간 기분 전환용으로 딱이다.
(Just placing it on your desk changes the mood, and the clicky feel is perfect for short breaks during the day.)
