업체를 부르기엔 비용이 부담되어 이번에는 직접 셀프시공으로 진행해보기로 했다.

1. 필요한 도구 준비 (Tools I Prepared)
셀프시공의 장점은 필요한 도구가 많지 않다는 점이었다.

2. 재단과 설치 과정 (Cutting and Installation Process)
기존 물막이를 모두 제거하고 주변을 깨끗하게 청소했다.
(I removed the old seal completely and cleaned the area well.)
새 제품의 길이는 기존 물막이를 기준으로 재단했다.
(I measured and cut the new seal based on the length of the old one.)
쿠팡에서 미리 구매해둔 커터(https://link.coupang.com/a/c4bAa1)를 먼저 사용해봤으나, 재질이 단단해서 생각보다 잘 잘리지 않았다.
(I first tried using a cutter I bought from Coupang (https://link.coupang.com/a/c4bAa1), but the material was tougher than expected.)
결국 후기에서 많이 언급된 다이소 원예가위를 사용했고, 여러 번 힘을 주어 누르자 절단이 가능했다.
(I ended up using the gardening scissors recommended in reviews, and after several firm presses, it finally cut through.)
자석 부분이 맞지 않을까 걱정했지만 시공 후 잘 맞아 떨어졌다.
(I worried the magnetic parts wouldn't align, but they fit perfectly after installation.)
3. 셀프시공을 해보니 (What I Felt After Finishing)
막상 해보니 예상보다 구조가 단순해서 작업이 어렵지 않았다.
(Once I started, I realized the structure was simpler than expected.)
낡은 물막이 하나만 교체해도 욕실 분위기가 훨씬 깔끔해졌고, 물이 새어나가는 일도 줄었다.
