오후 1시에 방문했더니 빈자리를 찾기 어려울 정도로 꽉 차 있었다.

혼밥 손님, 친구끼리 온 학생들, 직장인 그룹까지 고르게 섞여 있었다.

주방은 살짝 오픈된 구조였다.

셀프코너에는 단무지, 양파, 짜장 소스가 준비되어 있었다.

음료 냉장고에는 소주, 맥주, 탄산음료가 갖춰져 있었다.

메뉴판이 벽에 크게 붙어 있었고, 식사부·요리부·반반메뉴·세트메뉴로 나뉘어 있었다.

짜장면 4,900원부터 탕수육 세트까지, 혼자 와도 여럿이 와도 선택지가 충분했다.

반반메뉴와 세트메뉴도 있었고, 탕수육+짜장+짬뽕 세트가 27,800원부터 시작했다.

짜장면 (The Jjajangmyeon)
짜장면을 주문했다.

나는 원래 짬뽕파인데, 이곳은 간판이 위례짜장인 만큼 짜장을 먹어야 할 것 같았다.
(I'm usually a jjamppong person, but with a name like Wirye Jjajang, ordering anything else felt wrong.)
검은 그릇에 짜장 소스가 면을 덮고 나왔다.
(It arrived in a dark bowl, the sauce blanketing the noodles completely.)
맛은 평범했다.
(The taste was straightforward — nothing flashy.)
양파가 많이 들어간 기본적인 짜장이었고, 면은 쫄깃한 편이었다.
(It was a classic jjajang loaded with onions, and the noodles had a satisfying chew.)
군만두도 시켜봤다.

10개에 6,000원이었다.

길쭉한 모양으로 튀김 형태였고, 껍질이 바삭했다.

기름기는 크게 무겁지 않았고, 짜장면과 함께 먹기에 무난한 구성이었다.

맛이 압도적으로 뛰어나거나 서비스가 특별한 집은 아니었다.

가성비 하나로 점심 시간 자리가 꽉 차는 집이었다.

학생, 직장인, 혼밥러에게 위례 인근에서 한 끼 해결할 때 충분히 고려할 만한 선택지였다.
