트레이더스 위례점에 장보러 갔다가 줄 서 있는 사람들을 보고 그냥 지나치지 못했다.
(I went to Traders Wirye for grocery shopping, but couldn't just walk past the crowd lined up.)
바로 요즘 인기인 과일 바로 스무디였다.
(It was the Fresh Fruit Smoothie that's been getting a lot of attention lately.)
메뉴 & 가격 (Menu & Price)
가격은 단돈 2,900원이다.
(The price is just ₩2,900.)
종류는 수박, 딸기, 딸기바나나 총 3가지였다.
(There are three flavors — watermelon, strawberry, and strawberry banana.)
안내판에는 '직접 갈아 만드는 내 손안의 스무디'라고 적혀 있었다.

이용 방법 (How It Works)
일반 음료 주문이 아니라 셀프 스무디 머신 방식이었다.
(This isn't a regular drink order — it's a self-service smoothie machine system.)
순서는 이렇다.

키오스크에서 먼저 주문하고 결제를 완료하면 번호가 호출된다.
(First, order and pay at the kiosk, then wait for your number to be called.)
직원에게 냉동 과일이 담긴 컵을 받아서 셀프 머신으로 이동하면 된다.
(Receive a cup filled with frozen fruit from the staff, then head to the self-service machine.)
컵 바닥의 바코드를 기계에 스캔하고, 비닐을 벗긴 뒤 컵을 넣고 문을 닫으면 블렌딩이 시작된다.
(Scan the barcode on the bottom of the cup, remove the plastic wrap, place it in the machine, close the door, and blending begins.)
스무디 생산 시간은 약 3분 정도 소요된다고 안내되어 있었다.
(The sign said the smoothie takes about 3 minutes to make.)
냉동 과일 컵 (Frozen Fruit Cup)
컵 안에 냉동 과일이 꽉 차 있는 게 눈에 들어왔다.
(The cup was packed full of frozen fruit — it was hard to miss.)
수박은 붉은 과육이 큼직하게 들어가 있었고, 딸기는 통딸기가 가득했다.
(The watermelon had large chunks of red flesh, and the strawberry cup was stuffed with whole strawberries.)
딸기바나나는 딸기와 바나나가 함께 들어가 있었다.
(The strawberry banana had both fruits together.)
유통기한도 넉넉하게 남아 있었고, 신세계푸드에서 만든 제품이었다.
(The expiration date had plenty of time left, and the product was made by Shinsegae Food.)
대기줄 (The Wait)
대기가 좀 있었다.
(There was a bit of a wait.)
안내판에는 대기시간 약 15분이라고 적혀 있었다.
(The sign said the wait time was about 15 minutes.)
주말이라 그런지 사람들이 몰려 있었는데, 줄은 빠르게 줄어드는 편이었다.
(It was the weekend so there were a lot of people, but the line moved fairly quickly.)
생각보다 대기가 오래 걸리지 않은 느낌이었다.
(It didn't feel like as long a wait as expected.)
위례점엔 3대의 스무디 기계가 놓여있었다.
(The Wirye branch had three smoothie machines set up.)
제조가 완료되면 문이 자동으로 열린다.
(Once the blending is done, the door opens automatically.)
맛은 어땠나 (How Did It Taste?)
수박 스무디를 마셔봤는데 달달하면서 수박 특유의 시원한 맛이었다.
(I tried the watermelon smoothie — it was sweet with the fresh, cool flavor of watermelon coming through.)
인공적인 맛은 없었지만 특별히 인상적인 맛은 아니었다.
(There was no artificial taste, but it wasn't particularly impressive either.)
그래도 2,900원에 이 퀄리티면 괜찮은 것 같다.
(Still, for ₩2,900, the quality was more than decent.)
총평 (Final Thoughts)
이것만을 위해 찾아갈 정도는 아니지만, 트레이더스 갈 일이 있다면 장볼 때 시원하게 한 잔 마시기엔 딱 좋을 것 같다. (It's not worth making a special trip just for this, but if you're already heading to Traders, it's the perfect refreshing drink to enjoy while you shop.)
