매장 위치와 변화 (What's Changed)
신세계 강남점에 있는 베통(BETON) 강남베이커리에 다녀왔다.
(I visited Beton Gangnam Bakery, located inside Shinsegae Department Store in Gangnam.)
작년 9월에 한 번 방문했었는데, 이번에 또 다시 발걸음을 했다.
(I had visited once last September, and this time I found myself going back again.)
예전에 갔을 때는 백화점 입구 앞쪽에 자리가 있었던 것 같았는데, 이번에 가보니 매장 안쪽으로 위치가 바뀌어 있었다.
(When I visited before, the shop seemed to be near the entrance of the department store, but this time I found it had moved further inside.)
그리고 그때는 인당 구매 개수 제한도 있었는데, 이번에는 제한 없이 살 수 있었다.
(Back then there was a per-person purchase limit, but this visit there was no such restriction.)
원하는 만큼 담을 수 있어서 좋았다.
(It was nice to be able to pick up as many as I wanted.)
매장 풍경 (Inside the Store)
매장 안에 커피 메뉴도 있었다.
(There were coffee drinks on the menu as well.)
아메리카노, 카페라떼, 바닐라빈라떼 등 음료도 판매하고 있었는데, 빵을 계산하고 포장하는 것만 해도 직원분들이 눈코 뜰 새 없이 바쁜데 커피를 주문하는 사람이 실제로 있는지는 솔직히 모르겠다.
(They offered americano, cafe latte, vanilla bean latte and more, but honestly I couldn't imagine anyone ordering coffee when the staff were already completely swamped just handling the bread orders.)
계산대 앞 줄은 끝없이 이어졌다.
(The line at the register just kept going.)
이날 구매한 것 (What I Bought)
베통소금빵 1개 (3,900원), 초코소금빵 2개 (개당 4,700원), 블루베리소금빵 1개 (4,700원)를 구매했다.
(I picked up one Beton salt bread (3,900 won), two chocolate salt breads (4,700 won each), and one blueberry salt bread (4,700 won).)
집에 와서 먹어봤는데, 역시나 너무 맛있었다.
(I tried them at home, and they were just as delicious as expected.)
기본 소금빵도, 초코도, 블루베리도 어느 것 하나 아쉬움 없이 만족스러웠다.
(The classic salt bread, the chocolate, and the blueberry — not a single one disappointed.)
단짠의 조화가 딱 맞아서 계속 손이 가는 맛이었다.
(The sweet and salty balance was just right, the kind of taste that keeps you reaching for more.)
다음에는 더 많이 사오고 싶다는 생각이 들었다.
(Next time, I'll definitely want to bring home even more.)
