여수 돌산 여행 중 들른 메밀빛 초계국수막국수양평해장국 돌산본점 후기를 남겨본다.
(I'm sharing my review of Memilbit Chogye Noodles & Makguksu & Yangpyeong Haejangguk Dolsan Main Branch, which I visited during a trip to Dolsan, Yeosu.)
매장 외관 (Store Exterior)
건물 1층 통창으로 되어있는 매장으로, 큼직한 간판에 초계국수·막국수·양평해장국이라는 대표 메뉴가 한눈에 들어왔다.
(The restaurant occupies the first floor of the building with full glass windows, and the large sign clearly displays its signature menus: chogye noodles, makguksu, and yangpyeong haejangguk.)
주차도 매장 앞으로 편하게 가능해서 접근성이 좋았다.
(Parking was also conveniently available right in front of the store, which made it easy to access.)
매장 내부 (Store Interior)
매장 안은 생각보다 넓었고, 층고가 높아 개방감이 느껴졌다.
(The interior was more spacious than expected, and the high ceiling gave it an open, airy feel.)
2층도 있는 것 같았는데, 실제로 운영을 하는지는 확인하지 못해 올라가보지는 못했다.
(There seemed to be a second floor as well, but I couldn't confirm whether it was actually in operation, so I didn't get to go up and check it out.)
콘크리트 노출 인테리어에 조명이 포인트로 들어가 있어 분위기가 깔끔했다.
(The exposed concrete interior combined with accent lighting created a clean, polished atmosphere.)
주문은 테이블마다 놓인 태블릿으로 진행하는 방식이었다.
(Orders were placed through a tablet installed at each table.)
기본 반찬은 단출하지만 음식과 잘 어울리는 구성으로 준비된다.
(The basic side dishes were simple but well-paired with the food.)
추가반찬은 셀프바에서 원하는 만큼 가져다 먹는 시스템이었다.
(Extra side dishes were available at a self-serve bar, where you could take as much as you wanted.)
주문 메뉴 ㅡ 들기름막국수, 초계국수(물), 막국수(비빔), 메밀전병 (What I Ordered ㅡ Perilla Oil Makguksu, Chogye Guksu (Cold Broth), Bibim Makguksu, and Buckwheat Jeonbyeong)
들기름막국수(12,000원)는 메밀면 자체의 향과 들기름의 고소함이 살아있는 스타일이었다.
(The perilla oil makguksu, priced at 12,000 won, had a style where the buckwheat noodles' own aroma and the nuttiness of the perilla oil really stood out.)
다만 개인적으로는 고기리막국수의 들기름막국수가 조금 더 취향에 맞았던 것 같다.
(That said, personally, I think Gogiri Makguksu's version of perilla oil makguksu suited my taste a bit more.)
초계국수(12,000원)는 새콤달콤하면서도 시원한 육수에 닭고기, 채소, 계란지단이 올라가 있어 더운 날씨에 먹기 좋았다.
(The chogye guksu, priced at 12,000 won, came with a sweet and tangy yet refreshingly cold broth topped with chicken, vegetables, and egg strips, making it perfect for hot weather.)
비빔막국수(11,000원)는 이날 주문한 메뉴 중 가장 맛있었다.
(The bibim makguksu, priced at 11,000 won, was the best dish among everything I ordered that day.)
양념이 새콤달콤 매콤하게 잘 배어 있었고, 메밀면의 쫄깃한 식감과 김가루, 채소가 어우러져 계속 손이 가는 맛이었다.
(The sauce was well-balanced with sweet, tangy, and spicy notes, and the chewy texture of the buckwheat noodles combined with the seaweed flakes and vegetables made it a dish I kept reaching for.)
메밀전병(9,000원)은 반죽을 얇게 부쳐 도톰한 소를 넣고 말아낸 뒤, 먹기 좋게 격자 모양으로 큼직하게 썰어져 나왔다.
(The buckwheat jeonbyeong, priced at 9,000 won, was made by thinly frying the batter, rolling it with a generous filling inside, and then cutting it into large, easy-to-eat grid shapes.)
찜기에 담겨 나와서인지 껍질이 촉촉하고 윤기가 흘렀고, 온기가 남아있어 따뜻하게 먹을 수 있었다.
(Perhaps because it was served in a steamer, the wrapper was moist and glossy, and it still had warmth left, so I could enjoy it hot.)
얇은 메밀 반죽 안에 소가 꽉 차 있는 느낌이었고, 국수류와 곁들여 먹기 좋았다.
(The thin buckwheat wrapper felt packed full of filling, and it paired well alongside the noodle dishes.)
총평 (Final Thoughts)
식사를 마치고 나오면서 보니 주변 테이블에서는 양평해장국을 주문해 먹는 손님들이 많았다.
(As I finished my meal and headed out, I noticed that many customers at nearby tables were ordering yangpyeong haejangguk.)
다음에 방문하게 된다면 양평해장국도 꼭 한번 맛보고 싶다는 생각이 들었다.
(If I visit again, I'd definitely like to try the yangpyeong haejangguk as well.)
평일임에도 손님이 끊이지 않을 만큼 인기가 많은 곳이었고, 한 끼 맛있게 잘 먹고 나왔다.
(Even on a weekday, the place stayed busy with a steady stream of customers, and overall it was a satisfying meal.)
