건대입구역 근처는 카페 경쟁이 워낙 치열한 구역이라 주말 낮에 자리 잡기가 쉽지 않다.

인터넷 검색을 통해 찾아간 곳은 커피나무 건대입구역점이었다.

공간 구성이 인상적인 카페 (A Cafe With Surprisingly Impressive Space)
입구는 좁고 오래된 건물 느낌이지만, 안으로 들어가면 지하 1층, 1층, 2층으로 구성된 꽤 넓은 공간이 펼쳐진다.
(The entrance looks narrow and dated, but inside you'll find a surprisingly spacious layout spread across a basement, ground floor, and second floor.)
각 층마다 분위기가 다르다.
(Each floor has its own distinct vibe.)
지하는 어둡고 아늑한 편이고, 1층은 자연광이 들어와 밝으며, 2층은 조용한 카공 분위기다.
(The basement feels dim and cozy, the ground floor is bright with natural light, and the second floor has a quiet, study-friendly atmosphere.)
소파 좌석도 충분해서 오래 앉아 있기에 부담이 없다.

인테리어는 최신 트렌드를 따르진 않는다.

생긴 지 꽤 된 느낌이다.

네온사인, 액자, 식물 배치, 골동품 느낌의 소품들 — 통일된 감각은 아니지만 인증샷 포인트는 군데군데 있다.

메뉴와 가격 (Menu & Pricing)
아메리카노 3,800원, 라떼류 4,600~4,900원, 스무디 5,100~5,200원 수준으로 건대 상권 기준으로는 합리적인 편이다.

프랜차이즈 대형 카페와 비슷하거나 약간 저렴하다.

이날 주문한 음료 (What I Ordered)
이날 주문한 건 딸기라떼와 썸머라떼였다.

썸머라떼는 달달하고 마시기 편한 맛이었는데, 더운 날씨 탓에 얼음이 빨리 녹은 게 아쉬웠다.

총평 (Final Thoughts)
이 카페는 테이크아웃보다는 머물다 가기에 적합한 곳이다.

손님이 물밀 듯 들어오는 핫플은 아니지만 꾸준히 자리가 채워졌고, 건대 특성상 친구·연인 단위가 대부분이었다.
(It's not a buzzing hotspot, but seats fill up steadily — and given the Konkuk crowd, most visitors were with friends or partners.)
가족 단위는 거의 보이지 않았다.
(Family groups were rarely in sight.)
방문 당시에는 카공족이 유독 많았는데, 평소에도 그런 분위기인지는 알 수 없다.
(There were quite a few people studying during my visit, though whether that's typical, I can't say.)
음료 맛은 무난한 수준이었고, 지하는 음악 소리가 다소 컸다.

그럼에도 건대에서 자리 잡기 어려운 시간대에 넓은 공간, 합리적인 가격, 다양한 케이크까지 갖춘 카페를 찾는다면 충분히 추천할 만한 곳이다.
(Even so, if you're looking for a spacious cafe with fair prices and a solid cake selection during peak hours in Konkuk, this place is well worth the visit.)
