가든파이브에 있던 에그드랍이 없어져서 아쉬웠는데, 야탑역 근처에 있어 반가웠다.

아침 일찍 들를 수 있을까 싶었는데 입간판에 영업시간이 07:00~20:30으로 표시되어 있었고, 9시에 방문했을 때 문이 열려 있었다.
(I wasn't sure if they'd be open early, but the signboard showed hours of 07:00~20:30, and when I arrived at 9 a.m., they were already open.)
매장 외관 (Exterior)
EGGDROP 로고가 크게 들어간 간판과 빨간 어닝이 눈에 띄는 외관이었다.
(The storefront was easy to spot — a large EGGDROP logo on the sign and a bold red awning.)
입구 앞에는 스팸 치즈 에그 샌드위치와 디즈니 콜라보 서니사이드 브런치 입간판이 세워져 있었다.
(Out front, two sandwich boards advertised the Spam Cheese Egg Sandwich and a Disney collaboration Sunny Side Brunch menu.)
프랜차이즈답게 깔끔하고 정돈된 느낌이었다.
(Clean and well put-together, as you'd expect from a franchise.)
매장 분위기 (Interior)
매장은 넓은 편은 아니지만 간단하게 먹고 가기에는 충분한 공간이었다.
(The space isn't large, but it's perfectly adequate for a quick meal.)
카운터 쪽에 Pick Up, Order Here 구역이 나뉘어 있고, 창가 쪽에는 스탠딩 바 테이블과 둥근 스툴이 놓여 있었다.
(The counter area is divided into Pick Up and Order Here sections, and along the window there's a standing bar table with round stools.)
전체적으로 깔끔하고 정돈된 느낌이었다.
(The overall atmosphere was tidy and organized.)
메뉴는 대표 샌드위치부터 브런치, 베이글, 토스트, 음료까지 다양하게 준비되어 있었다.
(The menu covers everything from signature sandwiches to brunch plates, bagels, toast, and drinks.)
계란을 활용한 에그드랍만의 시그니처 메뉴는 물론이고, 간단한 토스트와 브런치 메뉴도 있어 취향에 맞게 선택하기 좋았다.

길거리토스트는 오늘 품절 (Street Toast Sold Out Today)
키오스크에서 길거리토스트와 아이스아메리카노를 선택해 결제를 시도했더니, 직원분이 현재 품절이라 취소 처리가 필요하다고 안내해 주셨다.
(I tried to order the Street Toast and an iced Americano at the kiosk, but a staff member came over to let me know it was sold out and the order would need to be cancelled.)
오늘은 길거리토스트, 스팸치즈길거리, 구운햄치즈길거리 세 메뉴가 모두 주문 불가였다.
(Today, three menu items were unavailable: the Street Toast, Spam Cheese Street Toast, and Grilled Ham Cheese Street Toast.)
신메뉴는 내일부터 가능하니 또 들러달라고 친절하게 말씀해 주셨다.

얼떨결에 선택한 모닝베이글세트 4,900원 (The Morning Bagel Set I Ended Up With — ₩4,900)
시간이 많지 않아서 급하게 고른 게 모닝베이글세트였다.

키오스크에서 음료는 아이스아메리카노, 컷팅은 하프컷팅으로 선택했고 총 4,900원이었다.
(I selected an iced Americano for the drink and half-cut for the bagel — total came to ₩4,900.)
트레이에 아이스아메리카노와 종이에 감싼 베이글, 알파울리 크림치즈스프레드 컵이 함께 나왔다.
(The tray came with an iced Americano, a paper-wrapped bagel, and a small cup of al Pauly Cream Cheese Spread.)
결과적으로는 아쉬움이 남는 선택이었다.
(In the end, it was a choice I couldn't quite feel satisfied with.)
에그드랍만의 두툼한 토스트가 아닌, 일반 베이글에 크림치즈 조합이었다.
(Instead of Eggdrop's signature thick toast, this was simply a plain bagel with cream cheese.)
에그드랍이 아니어도 맛볼 수 있는 평범한 맛이었고, 이 매장에서만 먹을 수 있는 특별함은 없었다.
(It was the kind of combination you could find anywhere — nothing that felt unique to Eggdrop.)
포장을 선택했다가 딱히 먹을 곳이 없어서 결국 매장에서 급하게 먹고 나와야 했던 것도 아쉬운 부분이었다.
(I'd initially chosen takeout, but with nowhere obvious to sit outside, I ended up eating quickly inside the store before leaving.)
총평 (Overall)
에그드랍은 이미 아는 맛이라 기대치가 있었는데, 오늘은 타이밍이 좋지 않았다.
(I already knew what Eggdrop was capable of, so my expectations were set — today just wasn't the right timing.)
원하는 메뉴를 먹지 못한 날이었지만, 야탑역 근처에 있는 것만으로도 반가운 매장이다.
(It wasn't the visit I'd hoped for, but just having an Eggdrop within reach of Yatap Station is a welcome thing.)
다음에 근처에 올 일이 생기면 그때는 토스트를 꼭 먹고 싶다.
(Next time I'm in the area, I'll make sure to come back for the toast.)
