하루하루 그냥 보내기 아까울 만큼 좋은 날씨가 이어지고 있다.

오랜만에 좋아하는 청와옥에서 점심을 먹고, 근처 올림픽공원에서 산책도 할 겸 다녀왔다.
(After a while, I had lunch at my favorite restaurant, Cheongwaok, and took the chance to go for a walk in nearby Olympic Park.)
맛있는 점심에 커피 한 잔, 그리고 가을 산책까지 더해지니 별것 없는 하루 같으면서도 꽤 만족스러운 하루였다.
(A good lunch, a cup of coffee, and an autumn walk added up to a day that seemed ordinary but felt quite satisfying.)
청와옥 올림픽공원점 (Cheongwaok, Olympic Park Branch)
주차는 평소 청와옥에 올 때면 매장 앞 도로변 유료주차를 이용했는데, 이날은 올림픽공원까지 산책할 예정이라 가까운 소마미술관 주차장을 이용했다.
(Whenever I usually visit Cheongwaok, I use the paid roadside parking in front of the restaurant, but this time, since I planned to walk all the way to Olympic Park, I used the nearby SOMA Museum parking lot instead.)
소마미술관 주차장은 10분 이내 무료이고 이후 10분당 600원이다.
(The SOMA Museum parking lot is free for the first 10 minutes, then charges 600 won for every 10 minutes after that.)
경차와 장애인, 국가유공자, 하이브리드, 저공해 차량, 그리고 2자녀 차량은 정상요금의 50% 할인이 적용된다.
(A 50% discount off the standard rate applies to compact cars, vehicles for people with disabilities, national merit recipients, hybrid vehicles, low-emission vehicles, and families with two or more children.)
2자녀 차량은 다자녀카드 소지 차량에 해당하니 주차할 때 참고하면 좋다.

주차를 하고 청와옥으로 이동했다.
(After parking, I headed over to Cheongwaok.)
오랜만에 방문했더니 주문 방식도 조금 달라져 있었다.
(Since it had been a while since my last visit, the ordering system had changed a bit.)
전에는 직원분이 주문을 받아주셨지만, 이제는 테이블마다 키오스크가 설치되어 있어 키오스크로 주문하는 방식이었다.
(Previously a staff member took orders in person, but now there's a kiosk at every table, and orders are placed through the kiosk instead.)
메뉴 가격도 예전보다 1천 원 정도 오른 것 같았다.
(The menu prices also seemed to have gone up by about 1,000 won compared to before.)
얼큰순댓국 2단계 (Spicy Sundae Soup, Spice Level 2)
청와옥 얼큰순댓국은 매운맛을 3단계까지 선택할 수 있는데 이날은 2단계로 주문했다.
(At Cheongwaok, the spicy sundae soup lets you choose from up to three spice levels, and this time I ordered level 2.)
오랜만에 먹어도 역시 맛있었다.
(Even after a long time, it was just as delicious as I remembered.)
얼큰한 국물에 순대와 고기가 들어 있어 든든하게 한 끼 먹기 좋았고, 2단계 정도가 개인적으로는 얼큰하게 먹기 괜찮았다.
(The spicy broth loaded with sundae and meat made for a hearty meal, and level 2 felt like just the right amount of spiciness for me.)
둘이 방문한다면 편백정식세트 하나와 순댓국 하나를 주문하는 편이다.
(When I visit with someone else, I usually order one Pyeonback set menu along with one sundae soup.)
편백정식세트를 주문하면 편백찜이 따로 나오는데, 양도 적당하고 이것저것 함께 먹을 수 있어서 순댓국과 곁들이기 좋다.
(Ordering the Pyeonback set menu comes with a separate cypress-steamed dish, and the portion is just right, with a variety of sides that pair well alongside the sundae soup.)
그리고 청와옥에 가면 오징어 숯불구이도 추천하고 싶다.
(I'd also recommend the charcoal-grilled squid whenever you visit Cheongwaok.)
순댓국만 먹기 아쉽다면 함께 주문해서 나눠 먹기 좋은 메뉴다.
(If sundae soup alone feels like not quite enough, it's a great dish to order together and share.)
맛있게 점심을 먹고 나니 이제 커피 한 잔이 생각났다.

스타벅스 올림픽평화의문점 (Starbucks, Olympic Peace Gate Branch)
산책을 가기 전에 근처 스타벅스에 들렀다.
(Before heading out for the walk, I stopped by the nearby Starbucks.)
원래는 테이크아웃을 하려고 했는데, 전에 방문했을 때 창가 자리에 앉아 커피를 마셨던 기억이 나서 이날은 매장에서 마시고 가기로 했다.
(I originally planned to just get it to go, but remembering how I once enjoyed my coffee by the window on a previous visit, I decided to sit and drink it in the store this time.)
2층까지 있는 매장이고, 1층 공간 구성은 이렇게 되어있다.
(The store has two floors, and the first floor is laid out like this.)
스타벅스 앱에서 룰렛 이벤트를 하고 있었는데 1+1 쿠폰을 받아서, 블랙 글레이즈드 라떼를 주문했다.
(There was a roulette event running on the Starbucks app, and I happened to win a buy-one-get-one coupon, so I ordered the Black Glazed Latte.)
2층으로 올라가본다.
(I headed up to the second floor.)
평일이라 그런지 좌석의 여유가 있었고, 화장실도 2층에 있어 이용하기에 편리했다.
(Perhaps because it was a weekday, there were plenty of open seats, and the restroom being on the second floor made things convenient.)
주문한 블랙 글레이즈드 라떼는 가을이 되면 생각나는 스타벅스 시즌 메뉴 중 하나라, 매년 다시 나오면 한 번쯤 마셔보게 되는 것 같다.
(The Black Glazed Latte I ordered is one of those Starbucks seasonal drinks that comes to mind every autumn, and it's the kind of menu item I end up trying at least once whenever it returns each year.)
진한 커피에 달콤하고 꾸덕한 크림이 올라가 있어 커피 자체의 쌉싸름한 맛과 달콤한 크림을 함께 즐기는 메뉴다.

커피를 마신 뒤에는 올림픽공원으로 향했다.

요즘은 아침저녁으로 제법 쌀쌀해졌지만 낮에는 걷기 좋은 날씨라 천천히 산책하기 좋았다.
(The mornings and evenings have gotten quite chilly these days, but the daytime weather was perfect for a slow, leisurely walk.)
맛있는 점심을 먹고 좋아하는 커피를 마신 뒤 예쁜 풍경을 보면서 걷는 것.
(Having a good lunch, drinking coffee I love, and then walking while taking in the pretty scenery.)
어찌 보면 별것 없는 일상인데 요즘은 이런 시간이 더없이 소중하게 느껴진다.
(It might seem like an ordinary day, but lately moments like these feel more precious than ever.)
나이를 한 살 한 살 먹으면서 예전보다 에너지가 조금 떨어진 것 같은 기분이 들었는데, 이날은 모처럼 기분 좋게 충전되는 느낌이었다.
(As I've gotten a year older each time, I've felt like my energy has dropped a bit compared to before, but that day I felt pleasantly recharged for once.)
특별한 계획 없이 좋아하는 곳에서 밥 먹고 커피 마시고 산책하는 것만으로도 충분히 만족스러운 하루였다.
